Good Monday Morning SV Families-
I have confirmed with SVE this morning that the power outage is really going to be on Tuesday afternoon 1:30 to 5:30. There has been some miscommunication between the two power companies. Monday will be a full day, and Tuesday will be a minimum day. Thank you for your understanding
Surprise Valley Families-
We have been notified of a scheduled power outage on Tuesday October 29, starting roughly at 1:30 pm. We are going to have a minimum day, students get out at 1:16. We will give you an update on the availability of the Seals program when we know more. Have a good weekend.
Surprise Valley Schools were visited by the BMX tours yesterday. They not only showed some fantastic tricks to our students, but also left them with the message to stop or help stop bullying.
Surprise Valley FFA got to visit the capitol building in Washington DC. They even got a personal tour.
10 Students and 3 teachers have traveled to Washington DC and then will be continuing on to the National FFA convention later this week. Here is the crew as they are headed to the East Coast and their first day was spent at George Washington's Mt Vernon and downtown Old Alexandria.
Parent signup forms have been sent home with elementary students regarding Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you haven't seen anything, please ask you student.
We are all set and open for business up at the Hitching Post at the arena at the fairgrounds! Stop by and say hi!
If you can help Boosters or the 8th Grade class with the Hitching Post concessions at fair let us know and Mrs. Pratt will add you to the schedule! We need help to make this happen!
Don't forget to come and see your teacher at back to school night tomorrow! Packets are available to fill out from 5:30-6.
NEW! Student raffles with a winner for each grade if you show up and talk to your teacher! 1st-7th from 5:30-6 and for 8th-12th students, you'll be entered into your class raffle once your schedule has been finalized tomorrow night!
